How do you start developing mind control or strengthening your will power?
Keep a journal, are there actual steps? Can you please describe them or point me in the right direction?? Thanks!

mind control i can't do or one of my slaves would be typing for me

one easy way to sink or swim in the willpower stakes is to stand up for what you believe and simultaneoulsly bite of way more than you can chew.

nothing like insurmountable odds vs your passion to strengthen the will.

1. keep positive
2. ask yourself is this a good idea?
3. have friends and family help you to know how to get out of really bad situations.
4.just be able to say "no"

This may sound trite, but:
Form a habit in competition to the habits you have formed now.
For example, if your habit is to watch too much TV, your new habit should be to go out for a walk or the like.
Everytime you feel the pang of guilt that you're watching too much TV, sit up (you can do it), stand up (you can do that too), go get your shoes and jacket and leave the house. Being in the environment where your old habits grip you is very hard, so changing the environment while you form new habits is effective. But when it comes down to it, you have the ability to do otherwise than you're doing at any given moment: and a choice to continue to do what you're doing.
This isn't easy, since habits in which we're deeply entrenched have hold of us, and it seems like we can't break them. We keep slipping into them because they're comfortable, familiar; But we always have a choice, however dim it seems at times when we're in the grip of old habits. And this is the tried and true method of strengthening will-power, as you say, which is another way of saying 'habit-formation', or, 'habit-breaking'.
The Greeks knew it, the Medievals knew it, and even some Moderns knew it, and, there are occasional traces of understanding of how this works in present-day psychology (by which I mean occasionally present-day psychology recognizes a higher purpose for human beings, which is the outlook from which this view of will-power grew.)

Good luck. You can do it.
